Since things are somewhat quiet along the TX gulfcoast....I did a search on the hurricane that hit Indianola in 1875. http://alvyray.com/Family/Stories/Indianola.htm
Interesting story in the fact that this port was in competition with Galveston at the time. Bombarded by Union troops, camels, washed away twice by storms! enjoy, galvbay

Wow interesting story galvbay - two hurricanes destorying the city both times and second time is was never rebuilt. I never knew about this - I love history. Amazing.
