The Mesquites have bloomed in S. TX
With a normal pattern this marks the end of any freeze
so hopefully the weather will go wacky and the banana trees killing my fence will freeze. Any glimmer of post hope would be appreciated

Huh? I never knew that Musa plants could kill non-living entities...

"non-living" wouldn't be the term you'd use after hearing the screams coming from that part of the fence during a fierce S wind like today. The Musa species that you're referring to is squashing my fence and I want it to die
Darnit, it looks like this weather is going to make me break out the Round-Up
