We didn't see these kinds of winds in the Gulf all last season.

It seems to be getting close, but no. It's raining and sleeting it sounds like.

Hmmmm, at this point I don't see the frozen precip reaching the immediate coast. I'm going to guesstimate that it stays along and north of a Picayune-Wiggins-Lucedale-Citronelle-Bay Minette-Brewton line.

Brent, I show you at 36 degrees with a 31 DP. I think you have about 2 hours before your changeover occurs. It is working towards you from the north and west.

Yeah it's racing SE, you can even see it on the intellicast radar. My only fear is though is we're going to run out of precip by the time the colder air gets here. Looks like we have another decent round of rain about to come out of the Gulf looking at the Mobile radar.Ivanhater wrote:Its starting to change over pretty fast now...sitting at 36.8 nowYoure getting sleet?

Re: Snow in the deep south this weekend!
Weird. KMOB has updated its local forecast page. It still calls for a 90% pop (before noon) in West Mobile, but now Semmes (which is about 15-20 miles west of Mobile) has a forecast of rain/snow mix for the rest of the morning.

Yeah, I'm watching live reports of snow on the I-65 corridor. It's coming... I think. Just very slowly.
