We've got rain in Southwesten Polk. Which kinda sucks because I have satellite TV, and the reception is getting kinda shaky. And I'm watching a special about JFK's assasination. Gah!!

Oh well.

Wind is picking up.

Edit: Satellite reception is out...

Must've been a mini squall. Light rain and no wind now.

I'd say I got no more than .01" of rain from the front.

Thunder a couple of times.. 1/4" of rain. Dang it!!!! I wanted more rain. Thought we might get a second dose - that didn't happen.

Now I'm watching what may happen later this week.

Beautiful Cirrus clouds out there right now. You look up and it looks like an ice skating rink, but it was a perfect day for flying, so there are clouds from planes all over the place too. Closing in on sunset too, so the rays from the sun are making it the more spectacular. I tried taking a picture, but none of the pictures could illustrate what I was seeing. It looks like there is a band of alto stratus moving in from the north and west though. :(

Should be pretty nice the next few days with a cool weekend, with lows in the upper 30's and highs in the 50's :)

There have been some ice pellets mixed in with today's rain, and it's windy. Miserable weather.

Wow... look at the gulf! I haven't seen that much solid rain in a non-tropical cyclone in a while.
