Not a flake yet here, either, although I have scraped the windshield three or four times this winter already.

Not here in NYC area.
You can have some of mine.

Here is a photo taken near my house on June 4 2007:
Since that's June, I'm sure you can picture how it looks in January.

Re: Snow in January? Not here!
Nobody much lives there in January, but Cape Cod looks like it should get about a foot if it doesn't mix with rain. latest WRF keeps Chatham below 35ºF during the event, so while the snow is wet, it shouldn't mix with too much rain. The native school children should probably get a snow day tomorrow, and the kids towards BOS, with 2 to 4 inches probably don't, which is only fair, because of how many storms the Cape goes to rain while it snows in BOS.
I'm acutely aware of this, having grown up in Eastern Nassau County, NY, often just on the wrong side of the magic rain-snow line.
BTW, last Tuesday, I did get to see freezing drizzle, icicles and everything near Wichita Falls, TX, so I have seen winter precip, though haven't seen, and probably won't see, snow this winter. I probably won't go back to the SPS area until Spring, but they are also a much better place to see severe storms than IAH area, so maybe I'll get to see some weather then as well.

Re: Snow in January? Not here!
We've had our little "teaser", nuisance snowfalls this month but nothing to write home about.
I have the feeling that it's a setup for something bigger in February.

We keep getting snow every few days. It's finally in the 40s today. The snow in the back yard is almost melted--the first time I've seen the grass back there since December. The front lawn still has several inches of snow, however...
Don't worry, the only time I've seen grass since November is when I was shoveling and took off a couple of inches of snow on the side of the grass, lol. It's finally starting to melt though.
