This wave has a decent rotation around 9n at 1013 mbs although it has lost convection as it emerged africa at the present time that I am typing this. That low pressure at 9n emerging africa remindes me of Bertha that formed on july 5th 1996 at around 40w the most east TS to form ever.By saying that comparison I am not implying that it will happen again but the only point I am making is the latitud the same then as right now the low pressures comming out of africa.Of course it will have many hurdles to pass before it can develop if it does at all but because we are in july things tend to begin to heat up east of the islands in this month especially west of 50w so let's see what will happen with this new wave.

The latest discussion at 8:05 PM says that the low is at 1011 mbs at 9n but fairly dry air is the cause that is making convection weaken but it is a well defined wave as described by TPC.
