Rainband I've been stormchasing for about 10 years...this is the
stuff I go at as a stormchaser :D :D :D

I'm just really passionate about chasing storms!!!
This has been a lifelong passion for me :D

Derek seems bullish on this one.
He also has the turn at 78.5 while the NHC advisory is at 80.0

The turn location is key to the effects on us in South Florida.

But there is a lot of land between the storm and Florida right now, and they are very vulnerable to even weak storms.

Something like 60 people died a couple weeks ago in flooding in Haiti - from a tropical wave.

I don't like what Jeff Masters is saying in his 11:18 PM Blog:

"I believe the 12Z forecast of the NOGAPS model, which predicts a more southerly track into the Western Caribbean, just south of Cuba, is the most reasonable one. This track would favor TD 16 developing into a hurricane, possibly a major hurricane, since the heat content of the waters in the Western Caribbean is high, and the wind shear will be lower further to the south."

This is NOT a good scenario for Florida.

I didn't even know there was an invest until I just decided to come here by chance. I figure many of the members are out of "tropical mode" I know I've been out of it for a few weeks now.
