Some Reports from the scene

I just copied these off of Weather Matrix. It is rough over there!! My mom is in Niceville FL just N of FWB. Guess I need to check that AWS site.

The following reports were recieved from stations in the AWS (WeatherBug)
Network in the path of Tropical Storm Bill:

It could have been much worse for our friends in SE LA. Thankfully Bill will continue to move away from the area at a pretty good speed. Now, we need a few weeks break, that was pretty intense!

I agree. While I am not minimizing what Bill has done, had he slowed down any... the results would have been much worse. :o

Colin, I believe most of the activity was out of Louisiana and Mississippi by 8:35 AM CT (9:35 AM ET).
