NO its not in decline, heck I feel that with the more favorable upper levels, possibly La nina could be taking over. That we could see some of the more interesting storms now. If thats all you can post then wow.

Per the TWO there are some favorable conditions-
this will likely develop and head for tex or mex maybe
louisiana who knows...

On ANOTHER note,

Sorry it's just hilarious how everyone gets so riled up when
one person predicts a quiet period.

00z GFS once again develops the low by 24 hours..but then makes it disappear after that. However, it looks like it brings this general "area of interest" into the TX/LA border area within 48-60 hours.

I'd say this is #3 in terms of potential development, behind 95L (probably a TS now) and the Cape Verde low.

Hey I do not want a major hurricane hitting the USA this season or any more in the future Katrina, Rita, Andrew, Hugo, Dora, 1935 Labor day hurricane, 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane, Charley, Frances, Jean, Ivan, 1900 Galveston Hurricane and on and on....

What ever this is it has made landfall based on surface obs. Overall surface trough is strenching from the gulf to the western Caribbean...With a flow of moisture going northward. I would watch the "LLC" around 16.5/88 or so cross the Yucatan, and then could become a sheared system once back into the gulf. Yes there will be more storms forming and maybe even making landfall.

I think this will be another slow developer. The trough will be over land for most of Sunday so if a low does develope it will not be till Monday before anything will happen. Certainly an area to watch....MGC

If this can move almost due north or NNW then its got a favorable shear pattern as it would head right into the center part of the H20 ridge.

Well, even if nothing else did develop, 9 named storms, 2 Cat 5 hurricanes and a USA hurricane hit, it wasn't exactly a slow season, unless you use 2005 as the standard.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the NHC has taken this invest off the floater. Looks like this one might be dead. That wave near the Cape verde islands looks like it is already a TD. Looks like this one will be a monster and being far south as it is there is a good chance this one will not be picked up so easily to go fishing.

Still speaking well of it in ABNT and AXNTs, but looks like models were run on EastPac TS Ivo and 95L, and not 94L.

I think th eclipse has begun, but it sure wasn't anything to write home about...

That is what I figured Southern...although it isnt looking health at this point, other than lots of storms. I noticed the area on the NE tip of the Yucatan earlier and it seems to stay pretty flared up. I wonder if the low is more up at the NE tip than further down.
