Slow organization is occurring

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Sat Jun 28, 2003 11:32 am

Certainly nothing rapid as there is still no well defined surface center. However, the upper winds are ever so slightly favorable for development (not entirely favorable as there is still that UL to the NW of the hurricane, which should restrict western outflow). In addition, the system is not moving and is close to land. However, there could be some slow development over the next day or so.

If the slow movement continues, those recon positions will prove to be far too fast in the motion

I agree Derek on the Recon. They may to go a little further south. It sure does look like it's trying to get some organization going. We have the rest of the week-end to watch and see what happens. :-)

It looks like a LLC might try to form under that big blob of convection. This one keeps getting more interesting.
