Does this whole scenario scream Allison's little sister to anyone else? It hopefully won't be as bad but there will be flooding, quite a lot probably since this isn't a lot FASTER than a snail.

It's already been raining here for several hours (intensity varying)... we're in a Flood Watch and there's already been one Flash Flood Warning in Jefferson County that I'm aware of. NWS storm total shows 4-5 inches in some spots already. Possibly a few days of this... oh boy.

Lets keep this in perspective, maybe the worst flooding since Erin. 6-8 inches sounds about right.

my guess is that it will be Ingrid, since NHC already meantions in the TD8 (the one in the ATL)forecast of possible strengthening to a tropical storm later today.

Unless it's already a TS, which i really doubt.
