Which P-3 was operational when the mission was aborted? Miss Piggy or Kermit? I toured Miss Piggy back in 2005 at Stennis field on the Mississippi coast......MGC

It went up at 11pm est and gets there at 1am est. It is at 15/69 now.

its the new one because the last one was a NOAA plane this is the AF plane

Thanks. I wasn't sure how to read the RECCO message - the new one is at 14/71 then

Wonder what's up with the minobs (or lack of)?

If indeed they departed about an hour ago - I'm guessing they're still on track to be in the soup in less than an hour?

yep.. coming from the east.. right now should be there at 1am :)


not sure where the minobs are its weird and a bummer love watching that

Yeah - me too - especially with Henk's AWESOME GE plotter.

Interesting that they used 60 second minobs to start the last mission - I wonder if it's related - think they've gotten short on disk storage? Satellite bandwidth?

I keep hitting reload .. and the minobs are going backwards in time lol .. they are playing catch up or something .. its funny
