It'll be Mostly Clear in the North Texas area, so yes, we'll be able to see it early Tuesday Morning.

I feel your pain

. I will be up before daylight so of course I will go out and take a gander.

Does anyone know how low on the horizon the moon will be around dawn here? Or if its low what direction to look? Thanks.

A bit of an error in the first two graphics-0337 PDT is 1037 UTC NOT 1337 UTC (since AZ observes MST year round, it will also be the same clock time here as in CA). 13h UTC BTW is 07h PDT/MST.

I notice the moon is quite bright right now. It looks good tonight without the eclipse yet.

A big bright full moon here, not a cloud in the sky. I'm in the St. Louis area, so I won't get the whole thing from start to finish, but I should get to see 30 minutes to an hour of totality before it's no longer visible. Good enough for me.

Speaking of eclipses, the U.S. will have a total solar eclipse in August 2017.

The moon is now beginning to darken on one side as it enters earth's umbra. Not a cloud in the sky, this is gonna be a beautiful show.

Wish I could say the same. Thunderstorms developed within the past hour. No moon, but a very very good lightning show.

About half of the moon is in the umbra now, should see totality begin in 30 minutes to an hour.
