Mini-kegs: A great product

#1 Postby DanKellFla » Mon Jul 30, 2007 7:07 pm

I am not a huge beer drinker. I would like to be, but I get really fat. My father-in-law likes a beer with dinner. So, I bought a Heineken mini keg. What a great way to drink beer. The first pour was great. It is supposed to last for three weeks. So far, so good. I can tell that it has been opened for a few days, but it is still great. And, I only pour as much beer as I want. I just thought I would share.

Great idea. I always equate kegs to large parties. But this is a good suggestion. ? - do you still buy them thru a brewery, putting a doposit on the keg?

I just get them at the supermarket where the regular beers are sold.

I'll bet that most of them don't last 3 weeks if you know what I mean.

No.. just in regular grocery stores or liqueur stores. They are just 5 liters :-)

LOL!

So I'm guessing not many frat parties would use such girly kegs? LOL

What do the mini kegs weigh?? Are they light enough that we could do away with the funnel?? If so, I know what I can do this weekend!!!
