*sigh* Just got back from Flagstaff about an hour ago (second trip within 6 days) from yet ANOTHER doctors appt. and yes, I have to have surgery AGAIN!! This time it's da utter foot Same problem as 4 years ago and it's the same surgery...I'll be down for 2-3 weeks. SO....if y'all wood, keep me in yer thoughts an prayers wood ya's?

Tell me about it-I have severe arthritis in my ankles so I have nearly constant pain.

Dennis - you certainly are not the type that enjoys being down for 3 weeks. That's obvious! I'm not either but in the long run, won't you feel much better? If so, take the surgery route, rest, heal and then get back to normal. Shame it isn't winter though, so you could get a fire going, sip some hot chocolate (or stronger, he he!) and watch movies galore.

As you probably guessed by now, the surgery was cancelled and rescheduled for this coming Weds., 22 August at 1300 hours, which truthfully worked out BETTER for ALL concerned!

I had a pre-trail testimony hearing on 17 August on some dirtbag we've been trying to nail for a year now!

SO...with that said, once again I ask for some "Amped up" prayers on my behalf and yes, as usual, I'm getting NERVOUS as ALL HADES

It's perfectly understandable you're nervous! I would be too but in your case, it sure sounds like you need it. I am praying and hoping you heal quickly and before you know it, back to your usual kantankerous (did I just say that? LOL) self Dennis.

WELL....I leave for Flagstaff in the morning, have to be at the SurgicalCenter at 1300 hrs. for blood work, EKG etc. etc. and then the surgery is Weds at 1300 hrs. so this will be one of my last posts until Thursday sometime. I have my laptop to post from the bed or recliner so I will keep ya posted.
