#1 Postby peabodyelephant » Sun Jul 22, 2007 11:14 pm

so, if this is the right forum for it, what do you all think of the upcoming la nina>? I hear it will be the biggest since 05-06 and could cool the earth down.

First of all, a la Nina is unlikely through the season and only a 50/50 proposition after that.

Second, "the biggest since 05/06" isn't saying much. 2005 was neutral all year and the winter 2006 la Nina was minor.
