Honey Bunches of Oats

#1 Postby southerngale » Wed Jul 18, 2007 12:49 pm

After all this time, I don't think I'd ever tried them before, until today. They're pretty good. I don't usually even eat breakfast, but when I do, it's usually Frosted Mini-Wheats. I like a lot of the junk cereals too, but I try to make wiser choices. lol

If I eat cooked breakfast, it's usually a breakfast for dinner kinda thing. I'm just not hungry enough in the morning for eggs, bacon, or anything like that. It's fun to have for dinner sometimes, though.

I'm a total breakfast person. It's probably one of my favorite meals of the day but I don't usually eat cereal for breakfast but rather an afternoon snack. Cinnimon Life is my all time favorite cereal. Usually for breakfast, I'll have eggs and grits, belgium waffles (I make them from scratch), biscuits with jelly, or something along those lines. It keeps me pretty full for the rest of the day and I think it prevents me from chowing too much at lunch.

I don't eat much breakfast either. What i find telling though is when I did many years ago I ate less the rest of the day and was far healthier than not eating it or eating very little.

I find that I'm rarely hungry when I get up in the morning and that whether I eat a big breakfast or no breakfast at all, I'm starving at lunchtime. So, I force myself to eat a banana or some other fruit when I get to work, and then I'm still ravenous by noon.

I'm a cereal killer; I hate it (except grits and oatmeal). :cheesy:

Oh yeah ... Honey Bunches of Oats (with almonds) is my regular breakfast - usually with vanilla yogurt, or else with milk and a sliced banana.

I dont usually eat breakfast except for when I have school. I usually eat cereal unless I have an exam. If I have an exam I go all out with bacon, ham, omletts, waflfes, and pancakes. I also eat a ton if im on vacation. I dont usually eat before 11 on weekends and during the summer.

I'm not a breakfast eater. I started on Nutrisystem monday. I have to eat breakfast now. It's part of the plan. I find i have more energy but that's probably due to the protein that i have to include.

My kids loved having breakfast for dinner. They called it breakner!

lol!!

I usually have a packet of Oatmeal in the mornings, I am not much of a cold-cereal eater. I like the fruit and cream oatmeal :)

I usually eat a quick "breakfast" on the way to work in my car. Just a energy bar and a gatorade.

Honey Bunches of Oats is to die for. It is my favorite breakfast cereal hands down. I used to eat it all the time when I lived on my own in college. I could get the really big boxes fairly cheap.

Golden Grahams, Cream of Wheat with purple plums, and real oatmeal (the kind that has to cook for 30 minutes...)
