Death valley is named that for a reason, if you get losted in there. You likely won't make it out. Death valley is on the hot side of the favorable for life zone; Antartica is the cold side. That tells you something that our planet is just in the right spot for life to develop....If we where a little out or in to the sun, no life would of developed. When we are looking through the solar system and extroplanets we need to remember that.

They're getting close to their record . . . the high there yesterday was (only?) 129 . . . so that leaves five degrees to go . . .

I'm rooting for the world record=136 degrees to be busted all over the floor. Come on death valley. Heck go for 140 degrees.

I drove straight through Death Valley on the 5th... :double: :double:

thankfully my AC kept on working...that park is beautiful and I hope I can upload pictures. I don't know how hot it was but the giant thermometer in Baker, CA read 116! I miss the desert now that I'm back in Texas with 90% humidity. :cold:

No, only 126 yesterday and 120 today.

Wait, I just called 126 only . . . I guess it's all relative . . .
