Death valley is named that for a reason, if you get losted in there. You likely won't make it out. Death valley is on the hot side of the favorable for life zone; Antartica is the cold side. That tells you something that our planet is just in the right spot for life to develop....If we where a little out or in to the sun, no life would of developed. When we are looking through the solar system and extroplanets we need to remember that.

I drove straight through Death Valley on the 5th...
thankfully my AC kept on working...that park is beautiful and I hope I can upload pictures. I don't know how hot it was but the giant thermometer in Baker, CA read 116! I miss the desert now that I'm back in Texas with 90% humidity.
