RIP papa Mitchel R. Herald - 9/28/40-6/8/2007

My grandpa has a massive hemorrhage, and is now on life support in Fort Thomas Kentucky. He will likely die this weekend....:( :cry: :cry:

Grandpa's name is Mitch Herald, and his wife's name is Sally...ty

So sorry to hear this, my Uncle died of a massive brain hemorrhage while on a golf course and just like that was dead, came as a real harsh shock. Your family is also in my thoughts.

Oh Jeremy, I was in a very similar situation nearly a year ago, with my grandmother. That was one of the hardest times in my life! I know how you're feeling and I'll pray for your grandfather and the rest of y'all. May God comfort you all during this time.

Thanks guys. To say the very least, the mood here in my house has been very somber. It's just deafening silence.

UPDATE 3:37PM - no change...still on life support. My brothers don't even know how serious this is - how do you tell a 12 year old that the only grandfather he's ever had is about to die???

He has been pronounced dead as of 7:10pm EDT. I will not be around all next week while we tend to funeral arrangements. Thanks for the prayers and support.
