Herc over at AICN has a ton of information on the final two episodes of the season:

[spoil]
What ABC is not telling us:

* We do not get a lot more information this season about Richard Alpert and the island’s other natives.

* We do not get a lot more information this season on the Dharma Initiative or the Hanso Foundation.

* We do not learn a lot more this season about Jacob.

* We don’t learn more about the four-toed statue.

* Christian Shepherd is not discovered alive.

* Libby does not appear.

* We will learn something huge about Kate.

* We get a major clue related to the “other” Oceanic 815 that boasted no survivors.

* We’ll be meeting new characters, but not in flashbacks.

* Rousseau’s original Frenchy broadcast from the pilot plays a role this week.

* There is much death in the finale.

* Yet another original cast member goes the way of Boone and Shannon.

* But, get this, another of the original regulars returns. And that regular is not listed among ABC’s cast list.

* We will see Terry O’Quinn at least one more time before the season ends.

* We see a new side of Hurley.

* Desmond does not sacrifice himself to save Charlie.

* There’s a big surprise involving Naomi and Penelope.

* The huge huge huge HUGE season-ending reveal resides in Jack’s very dark flashbacks, so watch them very carefully.

* Between now and 2008, fans may scratch holes in their heads wondering how this show is going to continue next season.[/spoil]

The cliffhanger is a stunner. Then you have to wait 9 months to see how it ends. Believe me, your going to be mad after you get over what you saw.

Well no one seems sure where Lost will end up when it returns in February. The plan right now is Tuesdays, either at 8 or 9(I don't know which is more likely). I've seen speculation for both, but it all depends on how ABC does in the Fall(they are going all out with a new strategy to have virtually zero repeats all season, and they still may tweak the official schedule released today, they did it with Thursday and Ugly Betty last year over the summer). Undoubtedly not everything will work, so it all depends. It could still return to Wednesday too since ABC is having three all new shows(risky, but it might pay off).

Brent, is it the summary that some poster lostfan108 posted? If not, do you mind sending me the link via PM? Thanks.

I have heard that the first part of the two hour finally will be interviews and updates and then a final one hour episode. I hope this is not true.

The finale is actually three hours... the first hour is the recap with probably what you mentioned(and it actually first airs tomorrow night after the Grey's Anatomy Season Finale), and then the two-hour finale from 9-11 should be all show like the previous 2 years.

Regarding last night's show, many comments to make but I'll wait for more members to check in.

One comment though - we were introduced to more new characters. I am so SICK of new people, I could literally scream. But it was so nice to see Rose and Bernard again. So nice!

What new characters? The only new ones of any note were the two people in the Looking Glass station. And they are only noteworthy b/c it looks like we see them next week.

I actually had tears during much of the show. I just couldn't handle all the Charlie stuff. Yeah, yeah... I know it's just a TV show, but...

Yeah, well... you know how "others" are when they peek into this thread. TEARS from a TV show?! But, but, but... it's Charlie!

Tonight's episode is supposed to be some of the questions and answers about LOST. It's supposed to prepare us for the 2 hour season finale.

Btw, does anyone have any of the LOST puzzles? There's 4 of them total, but I don't think the last one is out yet. I gave my sister the first 2 for her birthday a few weeks ago. There are clues after you work them, but they're hard to get. They haven't gotten them yet, but they have completed the first puzzle. I believe they're on the back of the completed puzzle and glow in the dark, and you need to work all 4 to get all of the secrets. lol The picture on the front of the box is not exactly the picture of the puzzle, so that makes them even more challenging.
I saw a tip to work them on a glass table so you could get the secrets without having to glue or try and flip the completed puzzle. That'd be a sight!

Had no idea they had puzzles, but it makes all the sense in the world for our show. You have peeked my interest now, I love working puzzles, and to know you get clues to the show after completion makes it more intriguing.

Just looked on eBay and found #1-#3. #3 is only up to 6 bucks right now. Not to bad. And I am sure if #4 was out they would have it , eBay seems to have everything. lol. I may purchase the first 2 myself. :P

That's what the promos say too... just a note: It starts at 10:15(Grey's will run til then, it is the biggest Thursday show, but that's slightly ridiculous), so the special should run *almost* commerical-free.
