Now watch the grocery bill go up. In our house, cat and dog food usually takes a good bite out of our budget.

They are all worth it, tho. Sam's Club is a blessing for us, all dry food. Can't afford the high brand foods. The cane frogs, outside at night, finish off all the cat food in the dish. It is usually empty by the morning.

Yes...we're back and some BAD news, she didn't come home with us

Seems the "Foster Parents, Mother" was LYING through her TEETH about her....she is VERY vicious, she is VERY aggresive with other dogs....needless to say, we filed a complaint with the German Shepard Rescue of California for the foster parents deception :x and according to them, they are being pulled from the GSR Foster Parents list, they are prohibited from ever owning another shepard AND the GSR is refunding our gas money spent!

On another note, when we got home, we have 2 other possibilities in New Mexico, ABQ to be exact SO....next payday, off we go again! Let's hope THESE people aren't LYING

I'm so sorry Dennis. She did look like a sweet heart. I'm glad that you did file a complaint.

Oh my, how crappy. Sorry to hear that, and glad they will no longer be able to be able to foster. Good thing you found out before you got her home though.

That's a bummer Dennis... she looked like a great police prospect. Good luck with your ABQ search.

Dennis, that is just awful. You know, what a shame that people will stretch the truth. That could have been a very volitile situation for you and your family. How is it that you actually got the truth? You know, we were never told about my dogs thunderstorm phobia and when I asked about it I was told that she never exhibited any behavior. Well, needless to say, we still have her. They wouldnt take her back, and now I am glad. Anybody else would have killed this dog. She is with me for the rest of her life, I couldnt let her go!

Janice, you simply must tell me about these cane frogs that eat dry cat food.
