#1 Postby simplykristi » Sun May 06, 2007 10:24 am

Hi All,
I didn't get up in time to watch the storms roll in but the lighnting and thunder woke me up. Here are some pictures that I took as the heavy rain was falling: http://simplykristi.smugmug.com/gallery ... #149964175. The rain was falling heavily so the pics may look a little blury.

I worked 0600-1300 this morning in Roeland Park (Western side of the KC Metro) and it was coming down in buckets. The water in my basement is a testament to this... :(

My maternal grandparents lived in Roeland Park, KS so I used to know the area well.

I am sorry to hear that there is water in your basement.

Hey baitism - how I remember Roeland Park! I lived in Mission for 17 years - right next door. Hope you got the sump pumps going in the basement. :-(
