2 cats, numerous gerbils, water turtles (red eared) and many captured box turtles that we built pens for in the back yard. :D

The fambly cat, Mickel (go figure that name); the duck, Peeper (name courtesy of my father); gerbils; fish; birds; rabbits; lizards; turtles. Quite the little menagerie!

Just the goldfish for myself but they were good enough, esp the one that lived for 10 years.

I remember when I was little, I would go to the Shrine Circus every year and buy a small lizard for 50 cents. I would take it home and feed it and put it in a shoe box. They never lived long. The Circus seller of the lizard would pin the lizard on your clothes. There was a little harness of sorts that they put the pin in.

ok, i was a strange one. I kept a pet caterpillar once (with coccoon and all), used to feed him my mom's rose leaves, until one day he fled his coccoon, turned into a butterfly and flew away without saying goodbye

I also kept a pet grasshopper, to keep him from getting away, i plucked off his 2 hoppers and kept him in a box with lots of food. Sadly, one day like 2 months later, he passed away.

Besides the two siamese and a silver tabby cat we had, I also had two different squirrels and a fish tank(not all at the same time). Both the squirrels were rescued after severe weather in our area and both returned to the wild on their own after we raised them. We named one beechnut and I can't remember the others name. Our siamese cats had chineses names-one was so young(I have no idea how it was spelled but how I typed it is not what it was). That was the baby. The mother was soo-soo.

Edit: The other squirrels name was peanut.

I had all kind of pets. I love animals. (never had a spider!!!!) I remember one favorite beagle named Dixie. She'd let me dress her up and stroll around the yard. She was a sweetie and followed me everywhere. When I'd be playing with my friends, Dixie was always at my side.

We had a dog named Smokey, a cat named Gray Girl because she was a solid smoke gray color. I tamed her, she was the kitten of a feral cat. It took 2 weeks before she would let me pick her up and another week after that she was following me around the yard.
