I opened my pool the first week of April. On this first day of May my pool reached the bathtub temperature of 90*F.

Wow... the water is still too chilly here. We've had a cool spring, so it may take a few more weeks. It's warming up though. I sweated for the first time at the ballpark Saturday afternoon.
It's been cool enough that we're either comfortable or need a jacket/blanket. We're not used to that in April!

We will likely open our pool in a couple of weeks.

I had a new pool installed last week. the kids were even in it the same day....the water temp was 50 degrees!!! BRRRRRRR
I installed a solar heater on it this past weekend and that seems to be making a difference. The water temp is into the mid-sixties so far. between the solar heat and the solar blanket at night I think we can extent the pool season here by a few weeks each side of the WHITE SEASON

You close your pool? I have never seen a covered (for the winter) pool in Florida.
