AT 1214 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A POSSIBLE TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED 3 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF SEWARD...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. ANOTHER DEVELOPING
TORNADO IS POSSIBLE NEAR HUDSON.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
SEWARD...
HUDSON...
RURAL RESIDENCES OF NORTHEASTERN STAFFORD COUNTY.

THERE IS A HISTORY OF SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE WITH THIS STORM OVER SOUTHWEST
STAFFORD COUNTY...INCLUDING DAMAGE IN OR AROUND THE TOWN OF MACKSVILLE.
THIS LONG LIVED TORNADIC SUPERCELL CONTINUES TO BE A SIGNIFICANT THREAT
TO LIFE AND PROPERTY!

Further north, in Phillipsburg, a tornado blew down trees, ripped doors off of buildings, and caused roof damage according to law enforcement.

Luckily, no fatalities reported so far. Still, this is a very significant event.

Is there a storm risk for later today?

After looking at the picture of the wedge tornado, I think the QRT needs to be notified.

Hopefully it isn't as severe. And doesn't stay on the ground for 3+ hours.

Well it's pretty weird for the left split to start spinning like a top -- the wind profiles out there must just be that intense to create rotating supercells.

It appears this cell has two of them on the ground now.

If you have any information on damage in the St. John area please post it!!! My f-in-law was from St. John and his wife was from Stafford. We actually own land to the SW of Stafford.

Nothing yet, but I heard they recieved 80mph winds.
