Lost And Not Found

#1 Postby Janice » Wed May 02, 2007 9:01 am

Have you lost something in your home and you know it is still there somewhere? We bought our new cat a nice brush for his long hair. We have searched the house for two days and cannot find it. Duh..... Still searching.

The plug for the bathtub in our apartment, it's been lost for about 6 months now. Maybe we'll find it as we're going thru ALL our junk, sigh (yeah right)

There's a lot of things hidden in the house and not found here, like my sinus medicine.

OMG, yes! My daughter got a new pair of flops, a really cute pair I may add, and lost just one of them, after about 2 weeks we found it she wore them 2 times and again lost just one of the flops, I think those flops are cursed. Well hubby and I have searched the entire house under every couch table and bed for weeks now. Finally just yesterday I was on a serious mission to find it. Stuff like that kills me. It took me 2 hours of searching every where....in toy boxes, baby dress up clothes, boxes under bed just in case somehow got in there, all the purses and bags my 3 girls own, and wouldn't you know it was under the couch. Hubby and I both lifted them and told daughter to look while we lifted, she said no mommy I don't see it. But I think she was just interested in all the other little goodies that where under there. So yesterday I got a brick from outside and propped it under one leg so it was lifted and I could get on the floor and really look, low and behold there it was soul side up. It felt so good to finally find it, lets see how long before the cursed flop is missing again.

pretty sure Jimmy Hoffa is alive and well and living in my brothers garage (what a packrat). Its an ongoing joke that if you can't find something, say it outloud in the garage and then leave and come back 10 minutes later...it'll be there :)

I'm pretty organized too but if I can't find something I usually end up digging thru the trash and low and behold there it will be. I've found some pretty expensive and important things. It makes me wonder what I have thrown away in the past.

Yes, my car keys with a little flashlight on the chain. They are in the house somewhere but I can't find them. Last time I used them , I had driven to the drug store to pick up my prescription and drove home. Next time I wanted to go to the store, I can't find my keys.
