Hairdos of The Past

#1 Postby Janice » Tue May 01, 2007 11:30 am

There are lots of hairdos we do not see on the streets much anymore.

My mother wore a beehive do for years. God, I got sick of it.

Can you think of one you do not see often or is outdated?

How about the shag haircut on the guys? I had one in the 70's. I thought it looked pretty good. Not sure what others thought.

This is a tame example of the do's I created in the 60's. My favorite was called Dancing Waves. The hair was teased into huge wave form and held in place with hair lacquer.
