News Program
What is one news program on television that you will always avoid?
Me... Paula Zahn. I know when she comes on, she will repeat all the news that has already been discussed. She adds nothing to the news IMO.

I avoid Fox and Friends. I find their antics to be childish. If I want clowns, I would go to the circus. Otherwise, any other news program is fair game.

Anything on FoxNews.
I'm trying to think of any of their programming that is actually a "news" program ( maybe Shepard Smith) as the majority are "opinion/commentary" programs portrayed as "news" with the lovely little "FOX NEWS ALERT" logo splashed across the screen.
I won't even peek at Hannity and Combs or O'Reily any more, as I fear I may do damage to my TV by throwing objects at them.

I won't watch the CBS or FOX local affiliates here for Houston/Galveston news. However, when I go to KY, I'll only watch the NBC affiliate.
As for the national cable news channels, I watch FOX most of the time, MSNBC on occasion, and CNN only if they're covering something live or breaking that the others aren't.

I also HATE that show on msnbc called "countdown" w/Keith Olbermann. That guy is such a nerd, I can't stand anything that comes out of his mouth.
I love Olberman - he is hysterical, but I consider his show more "comedy & commentary" than "news".
As a news junkie - I watch some MSNBC, CNN, local news, and check at number of website news sources ( AP, BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Weather, and some more local ones.)
I agree, though, when the cable stations are harping on some sensational story like Anna Nicole Who Cares, or Scott Peterson, etc, I just flip right past them.
