OMG! I do too. We've been trying since Early FEBRUARY to fill out the summer form. Well first, they sent it back because of some wrong info(that's the last time we don't check it first), sent it back, but then we waited... and waited... and waited. Anyway, we contacted the college about 2 weeks ago(since summer is VERY soon) and they told us we had filled out the fall form even though I went up to the office myself, and told them I wanted a summer form(because THEY asked). BLAH! Oh yeah, and they haven't told us anything more about the fall. I am already sick of them(and the people at the college who did that) and this is only the beginning.

Well said. Maybe complicated, but it's easy in the end.

The FAFSA gets easier with time. Generally it takes me about an hour to complete the form. Back in the old days, it was all on paper. It would literally take months to get financial aid.

I say get the graduate assistantships...they pay for the tuition. Of course, I still get to pay for the fees and books.

Brent you can do it on line at FAFSA.gov . You can apply for a PIN number to sign it and one of your parents needs to apply for a pin to sign it also. That is what took so long for Aimee the first time, what 5 years ago...still probably at least 3 more years to go and HAVE YET to get one red cent from them. Aimee has loans, but that is about all. This year my income changed since I stopped working full time and it gave me an error that said there was a drastic drop in income from last year, please review my information and fill out the form again.....man than really TT'd me off. Then when I did Bud's it gave me the same error. I remember last year if you had a second child it filled all that out for you again, this year, it didn't have that option......why do away with some thing that helps????? Heck, its the government, what am I saying..........
