Many, many years ago we owned a motor home. We were living in the CA desert in a town widley known as a Morman community. I was always concerned that if the "big" quake hit folks would head in our direction. I didn't intend to be there. I kept that MH in "bug out" mode including clothes, shoes, food and any other necessity you can think of. I had enough food for the entire family for three days. We never brought the MH from a trip without emptying the holding tank and filling the gas tank. We could have finished loading (guns, ice, cold stuff, kids, extra gas, etc.) and been gone within an hour. Thank goodness we never had to use it that way. However, it was really nice when would would decide on the spur of the moment to take off for a weekend.
