It's not like they asked him to send it to them. Why'd he pick NBC? Have the other networks received anything also.
Besides that, maybe they needed to double-check and make sure they weren't airing anything that would be deemed as too insensitive to the victims.

That was chilling. Did anyone else watch it? Very twisted and bizarre. I just don't know what to say.
He sent it overnight mail at 9:01am Monday, but had the zipcode and the street(Rockefeller Plaza, not Avenue) wrong so it was delayed a day. Sounds like some of the stuff may have been made after the first shooting.

FNC was just reporting that had the court ruled when he was determined to be mentally ill that he serve a mandatory sentence, that it would have shown up on the background check and stopped him from buying guns, AND get this, apparently officials at VT did NOT know about the ruling! That is just insane... I don't get it. He was living on the campus(with roommates!) and they had no clue about his mental state? Scary.

Very weird interview with one of his suitemates on Chris Matthew's show just now ...
Apparently, Cho never talked with any of his suitemates. If they tried to talk with him, he'd just ignore them. Never had any kind of animated expression, never interacted ... just sat there typing on his computer, or watching wrestling on TV. The guy said he wouldn't even have known his name if the RA hadn't posted it on his door.
If I had a suitemate like that in college, I'd have been seriously creeped out.
