It seems this week that our little bubble has worked extra hard to keep all rain away from Topeka. Monday, storms were around Lawrence, moving SouthWest. When they could reach Topeka, it was getting dark, therefore, none reached us. Tuesday, the storms fired on the Western County line, moving SW again, missing us again. Wednesday, storms fired ahead of a cold front around Concordia, moving my way. They died, but sent an outflow boundry. Those storms fired North of me, and quit going south at the county line, and moved east, until they reached the eastern county line, then moved SE, toward KC. Therefore, BUSTING my forecast of 84° with a high of 91°, our second 90°+ temp for the year.
Maybe when i'm in Colorado the "pop-up storms" will ignore Colorado, and hit Topeka.
Have a good day!
