Outside of Flooding Rains...Quiet Now
Things are relatively quiet now in the tropics, outside of the flooding rains of course. High pressure is expected to build down the east coast in the medium range which can always get interesting in the SW Atlantic. Don't see any models showing anything, but early next week it will be inetersting to see if anything develops there. Otherwise we have our GOM area of low pressure (weak) and a large area of strong convection entering the extreme southern portion of the BOC. Wave came off Africa as well, but nothing out there will develop unless it survives the journey to west of 50 and conditions get favorable. Too much shear and other things flying aroung the Caribbean and central Atlantic.......we wait. Cheers!!
