predictions contest for winter storm

i think it could be fun to set up a " contest" based on a system of forecasting (predicting) snowfall amounts for a certain list of cities for this major storm and then by the time the system winds down late wednesday pick a winner. i think this could be fun and someone could actually think they are pretty smart.

so you could pick 12 locale's (an example)

indy
cinncinnati
pittsburgh
state college
philly
baltimore/ (sorry d.c) but balt is close enough
new york
albany
hartford
providence
boston
burlington, VT

make an exact educated "guestimation" for each by the alloted times listed below, and then u add or subtract the actual from your prediction to total how much you were off, do that for all 12 cities and who ever has the Lowest number wins i.e who ever is the closest to the actual total when all cities are added up. each city represented will have reliable reporting stations so this can be done

and i know how people like to change there forecasts and update accordingly so i would propose deadlines to make estimations as follows

for indy, cincy, and pittsburgh noon tuesday (ok so it's already snowing in indy cincy what ever i started this thread late)

state college, philly, new york city, albany, baltimore 6pm

burlington, boston, providence, hartford, 10 pm

so you could to preliminary forecats and then update them within alotted times or just have all predictions in by early afternoon tomorrow still thinking this thru
