Hey George! You are one of the people that lost their jobs because of the casinos being built where they were.
Everything is getting so commercialized because of pure greed and there isn't much beach left to enjoy anymore.

I remember the MGC before Camille and it was beautiful and the tourists did come without the Casinos. However once I-10 was built people who were traveling through had no reason to go down along the coast. I'm sure this in part led to a "need" to develop other tourism sources and one of those was Casino's though if I remember correctly that was many years after Camille. So I guess one can say the MGC came back after Camille without the Casino's. Not sure it could now since they had become such a huge draw for the area. Even had flights direct to Biloxi from Houston and we know where all of them went. Not saying it is good or bad, just pointing out some facts(at least I hope I am correct). Those that know better feel free to correct me.
