.ANOTHER ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL BLAST THROUGH THE REGION TODAY.
LAKE EFFECT SNOWS WILL CONTINUE...AND WINDS WILL GUST UP TO 40
MPH BEHIND THE FRONT THIS AFTERNOON. THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND
BLOWING SNOW WILL RESULT IN FREQUENT WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ALONG THE
LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE INLAND TO GRAND RAPIDS AND HASTINGS DURING
THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A
BLIZZARD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS
EVENING. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES TODAY AND THIS EVENING...
WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ANTICIPATED. WEST
WINDS WILL BEGIN GUSTING TO 40 MPH THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
INTO THE EARLY EVENING. IT IS DURING THIS TIME THAT BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED... WITH FREQUENT WHITEOUT CONDITIONS DUE
TO THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP. TRAVEL WILL BECOME EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. IF
YOU MUST TRAVEL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING... HAVE A WINTER
SURVIVAL KIT WITH YOU. IF YOU GET STRANDED... STAY WITH YOUR
VEHICLE.
WIND CHILLS OF 10 TO 20 BELOW ZERO TODAY WILL LOWER TO 20 TO 30
BELOW TONIGHT. THIS MAY RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA
IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE
SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.

Checking in to make sure everyone knows I'm safe........
It's REALLY bad in Grand Rapids. Wind chills are what they say, but the wind hasn't been that awful, it's just the snow has been coming down really fast. No power outages or damage or anything to that nature that I know of, but there are lots of car accidents.

Hehe.. Yeah it feels like but.. just wait it will probably really be that cold and throw in some wind and bingo.. you to can have -40 to 60 below winchills..
