The warmest air temp at which snow has fallen?

I can say for sure but the think I have heard of it snowing around 50 degrees. But that would just about have to be a high elevation. I know I personally have seen it snow here in Denver last october with a temp around 41 degrees, which of course did not stick. It also cooled the air to low 30's rather quickly. Higher in the mountains you go the more likely you are to get snow at temps above freezing.

I was wrong...just did some research and read that it snowed at 53 degrees in Jacksonville, FL back in the 70's...NOT high elevation :)

I had it snowing at about 44-47 last April. I was wondering how close it was lol.

I have seen is snow at 41 degress here in Hickory, North Carolina were I live. I think is was back in 95

Orlando saw some snow flakes mix with rain at temperatures of 43-45 degrees last November.
