First accumulating snow of the season

#1 Postby Jim Cantore » Thu Jan 18, 2007 7:13 pm

On February 12th 2006, the last of 13 inches of snow fell here.

340 days later, a quarter inch of snow fell. The first accumulating snow since.

took long enough.

The wet snowfall this afternoon coated the ground in some of New York City's nearby suburbs.

Wow! I love the last one!

We had some sleet and snow showers pass by yesterday morning before rush hour. It was just enough to make it slippery and give us a little more white on the lawn/shrubs. It was gone by the evening though.
