I ventured out and took some photos. It's COLD out there! I wound up taking the pics with gloves on. That was quite the experience. My fingers were so cold I decided not to chance dropping a lens so I didn't change 'em up.

I walked in the street because it was slushy. The sidewalk looked treacherous - I didn't test it. It started sleeting again while I was outside. But it's kinda hard to photo sleet unless it's pouring sleet :)

Let me know if you have problems seeing this slideshow (click on the link).

Enjoy :)

this looks BAD! We may see freezing rain and sleet (heavy at times) all night by the look of that radar loop. I am not very thrilled about what it may look like in the morning.

I just saw that on ch. 2 myself. If I don't see any snow out of this (even a stray flake) I'm gonna slap my office manager when I get into the office tomorrow. :cheesy:

Thank you :)

We're east of I-35, so we didn't really get the snow. One short burst of snow and the rest has been sleet. So it doesn't *look* all that bad out ... especially from what I've seen in the past living in Dallas, but it's all the more dangerous just because it doesn't look like much.

Frank was excited and perplexed at the same time. About ready to throw his hands up.

I'll trust him on the snow, as it looked like a driving rainstorm to me...

wow. Norman thinks freezing rain rates of 0.05" an hour are possible? That is bad news right there. That could mean over 0.75" is possible by the time it is all said and done (including what has already fallen).

I really do hope we see a changeover to snow or sleet though.
