NYC: 72° January Day

As a long stretch of unseasonably warm weather peaked, there were hints of Spring around New York City.

You're most right, Kelly. I sure wish I could post snow photos, but I'll have to settle for spring scenes for now.

72 degrees in NYC in january is outrageous.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 39.

Wildness! It's January! I have a feeling there is going to be some serious winter kill on the plants and lawns this year because of this in some locations.

green one day and burnt the next --- probably will be burnt by the end of this week in many locations in the Northeast.

I think that the plants in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic are used to being "fooled" by Ma Nature. However this is insane! It was a gorgeous day yesterday and Philadelphia broke it's record high by 2 degrees - 73 degrees versus 71 degrees in 1950.
