I've been watching the weather in Columbus over the internet this weekend, see its raining lightly with a temperature of 41F right now..so a little too warm for snow...not too dissimilar to here where we are at 47F and light rain...but little chance of it getting much colder here overnight.
So looks like Columbus could see some falling snow this week but not lying snow. Unlike thanksgiving week last year when the cold really started to dig in.
A bit more of a wait here in Staffordshire, lots of potential in the next few days...but the focus is now on a series of very deep low pressures that are going to lash the UK though this week. One of which looks like a very nasty storm indeed...could be something that this country hasn't seen in quite a long while. Already a gust of 83mph being recorded in Ireland..on storm laster this week shows potential gusts to 93mph. Pressure is falling fast and its starting to get breezy where i live!
Also the chance for some of these storms to coolect pools of cold air and give some snow to higher parts.
So, we might not have any real cold weather here yet either....but boy, are we going to get battered this week!
Where is everyone??Most important...where's the cold???
