Unbelievably cold air for Florida is expected to push down the peninsula early next week with lows in could bottom out in the 20s for extreme North Florida to the 30s even into interior South Florida!!!

the keys would probably be a better bet for that. Key west, for instance, has a record all time low of just 41F. It would be a perfect place to live if you never wanted to see frost again.gatorcane wrote:I like highs in the 70s lows in the 50s all winter ---- I expect South Florida to give me that!
I moved from Tampa Bay because it is too cold there for me in the winter.
However, highs there can even dip into the 60s during the winter from time to time (usually with wind), so you can never truely escape a chilly day or two each year.
