Snow does not usually fall this early, but it's snowing and it is snowing at a good clip. We could see a few inches or more because how fast it is falling even though it says up to 1 inch(That's if it keeps its intensity or does not change to rain again).

I think the key to the global warming debate is not to focus on one event in one area of the world....i think it is more a slow evolution of overall trends, and of course there will be spikes in one direction or another, but the trend is probably the key.....and what is going on in one part of the U.S. even might not be going on in another.....

I'm a little late to the party, but at the time you posted this, I was thinking the same thing. They were't calling for a change over to snow until 2 or 4 AM, but I was getting it around 8 or 9 PM just a tad west of Madison. By 10PM or so, we already had a little over an inch. By the time I woke up in the morning, the snow had packed itself down into ice already.
