Ben's lived on the island all his life? Wonder why...how he got there....
"Shortcake" - very cute, Sawyer lol....I cracked up at "you tasted like fish biscuits" - I just love Kate & Sawyer!
So they've been on the island 69 days - that's a little over 2 months...don't you think that Sun would've known before now that she was pregnant if it was the English tutors?
Hmmm....good episode tonight, I think! And we get to see our other Losties next week

notice that the others are only treating the true criminals, Kate and James Ford (Sawyer) harshly, but are open with the other losties.
I think what they did is find out who may be like the bad group of others, the ones that do not leave a trail and are treating them accordingly, in order to protect their society.
And they could start by vaporizing Danielle, who is likely one of the leaders of the bad others. When she came to the losties camp at the end of S1, she came UNDETECTED, just like the group Eko and Michael saw in the jungle, not the group led by Ben

This is getting too deep for me. No, correct that, it is intriqueing. LOL
My fave parts from tonight's ep, before I give my theories:
The kiss! Wow! Better than Jack and Kate's last season.....Jack is still my fave but there is something so animalistic about Sawyer.
Jack cracking up at hearing the Red Sox won the WS. I LOL at his reaction.
Sawyer checking out Kate's butt. Too funny. He's okay with checking her out but did you all catch how protective he is of her? He doesn't want the others checking her out.
Sayid - thank God for Sayid. Even though his plan didn't quite work out, next to Jack, you want Sayid on your side. Jin - yikes! Glad he didn't kill and I will say it - the baby's father! Now I know at least, there's a good chance the baby is not Jin's. Poor Sun. What a controlling father she had.
Ben, Shmen. I don't care what those Lost writers throw at us and expect us Lost fans to believe. I will not accept that the others are the good guys. No way. Thought Jack would have shaken creepy Ben's hand. But you know Jack, he can be stubborn.
I noticed the analogies here, Sawyer and Kate are treated like criminals. And they were. In the real world. Jack is singled out here b/c he's their leader. Break down the leader and you will get to the rest of the Losties. I predict Jack will go along with their promise to let him off the island but in the end, he won't go back to civilazation. He'll give up his seat for someone else, who needs off the island more. He doesn't have anyone to go back to and he feels too protective of his group, to leave them there. Michael leaving made sense, he wanted to get his son off that crazy-a** island.
My theories.....I wonder if Ben and his group are second generation Dharma Initiative people, born to parents who either volunteered for the project or were forced into it. The only flaw in this theory is Ben and his group look pretty old to me. And that one lady was a senior. But she could be one of the original Dharma types.
What would be funny is if they had Jenna Elfman from Dharma & Gregg guest on the show. I loved her wacky character on that show.
Just joking.....

Quick question...
Was the blonde female other Sun shot tonight, the same female other on the boat, in Season 1's Finale, when the others approached the raft. I remember she vaguely looked like she could have been Libby until we learned Libby was a plane survivor. Seeing her tonight and her outcome, reminded me of Libby all over again.
I always wondered who this female other was (from Season 1's Finale).
It could also have been Juliette too. Comments?

I missed a kiss between Kate and Sawyer???????
My hubby was messing with the t.v. while it was recording, and he screwed somthing up, so we only saw the first 5 minutes and then we went to live t.v. when we realized it didn't record it all by then it was 9:40, only 20 minutes left. I was very aggro!!!!!!!
I knew we were missing all sorts of good stuff.
Good theory Mary, but how do they know every life detail about everyone on the island? That is creepy. I bet Jack does give in to the offer he was made. Wonder what they are going to make him do though? Something like Micheal? Hmm.
I don't think that Suns baby is the other mans. I think it is Jins.
Not sure on that last question Mary, I don't recall the last episode of last season too well.
Funny she got shot the in the stomach just like Libby did, and Shannon as well, for that matter. They should have shown that last episode again before they started this season.
p.s. I guess there is no way for me to watch last nights episode anywhere online right? If someone knows where I can watch it please let me know.

CBS' "Criminal Minds" had a 10.9/16 in the 9 p.m. hour,
beating the 10.2/15 for ABC's "Lost," though the ABC drama averaged more viewers. FOX's baseball was third, outdoing the 5.0/8 for NBC's "Biggest Loser." The CW was last with the 2.2/3 for "One Tree Hill."
Dang, and it's only Week 2.

O Town -Let me know (PM) if you can't view last night's episode online. As a backup to our DVR via Satellite, I also record Lost on an old VCR, that is rarely used. We had storms in our area again last evening and our Sat. tends to go out. Then whatever you had recorded just stops taping. Very frustrating. I'm going to record Lost this way the entire year - DVR and VCR. Even though I'm upset with the Lost writers right now, I'll record it two ways. I'd be happy to send you the VCR tape - it's an old tape anyway, used many times for weekly show.

Kelly - they keep adding more characters! This is at best, a 40 minute show each week. When we are granted new episodes. 4 more to come until next year. I'd much rather get back to the core group and more actual island time. I miss Hurley, Charlie, Claire, baby Aaron, Locke, even Vincent!
That's why. I know they have to give us some sort of explanation as to why the others claim to be the good guys. But at this rate, we'll never get true answers, for seasons to come.

Wasn't Lost originally supposed to only be one season long? So, they've had to create new stuff to expand it, right? That's what I thought I heard about it halfway through the first season (on ET or E! or something). I thought the whole thing was supposed to be solved and they were saved by the end of the season.
So, by having to create new twists and turns, they're making things even more confusing and likely to leave some gaps in continuity. For example, and I know this is really old, did you guys ever find out what was up with the lottery numbers?

The children were almost certainly taken by the group of others we have seen. But those from the tailies taken on the first night were almost certainly taken by the bad guys (possibly Nathan was one of the bad guys... Goodwin seemed to know more about Nathan than origionally thought, plus, Nathan was not on the plane and did not cme with Goodwin)

I am trying to watch the episode now. I have seen a little bit more but now the darn thing keeps saying its loading, and nothing is happening. I have been trying to watch for a half hour at least, it was playing the beginning fine and now its "stuck". I even got hubby to sit beside me here and watch, needless to say he got aggro and walked away 10 minutes ago.
I will keep trying.

Yeh that could have been her or it could have been rousseau's daughter. Who knows? I liked this second episode better than the first one
