Tropical storm Blanca forms at EPAC

#1 Postby cycloneye » Tue Jun 17, 2003 3:26 pm

This system is moving parrarell to the mexican coast but it wont make landfall as it will move away as a ridge builds to the north inside Mexico but Blanca may well be a strong TS of 60-70 mph before cooler waters await it.

It is close enough to give some rains to Mexico. Looks to head into to cooler waters before it becomes too big. Probably peak winds should be around 65 mph IMO before it begins to weaken.

Right now is around 250 miles from Acapulco so no big effects from it but some rain may go there.
