ABC will re-air the season finale tonight from 9-11, with the much hyped premiere TOMORROW night at 9pm ET/PT(remember it is on Thursdays now, NOT Sundays). A recap will air before it at 8.

Gosh I hated that Denny died! I did not get to watch the finale before, so I watched it last night.

Something else, do any of you think that Chris O'Donnell is up to no good? Do you think he put Doc down because he was jealous? I just cried and cried at that too! :cry:

The repeat did very well last night(about 11 million viewers, 2nd place behind CBS both hours). Ratings will be huge tonight. I doubt it will beat CSI(the #1 show on TV), but it's not going to be far behind. ABC has been dead on Thursdays for decades.

Yes, I even hoped Meredith would fall for the guy on the Bomb squad - and then he got blown up. I'm hoping that she kinda falls for Chris and we always have the Meredith-Dr McDreamy thing in the background. Unrequited love :lol:

Six Degrees(the show following it now) is very good(surprisingly) so far as well.

This where the ratings get fun, folks. Cutting to the chase for a moment, Grey's Anatomy's new time slot (and those multiple video-playing ads, I have to assume) paid off big time, as the ABC drama bested 9 o'clock hour stalwart CSI in their premieres' head-to-head clash. The overnight tally: Grey's 25.15 million total viewers, CSI 22 mil. Grey's also has can claim bragging rights to the droolworthy 18-49 demo, where it snagged 50 percent more than CBS' crime drama.

Rewinding to 8 pm, Survivor: Cook Islands led the pack with 17.7 million, followed by a Grey's clip-show (13.4 mil) and NBC's My Name Is Earl/The Office combo (each with about 9 mil). Leapfrogging to 10 pm, we had a bit of a horse race, as ER's kazillionth-season premiere, with an audience of 15.5 million, edged out newbies Shark (debuting with 14.9 mil) and Six Degrees (with 13.3 mil).

At 9 p.m., the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere, 15.7/23, scored a rather shocking win over CBS' "CSI," 13.5/20, which has dominated the timeslot for several years. "Deal or No Deal" was a distant third for NBC at 6.5/10. "Celebrity Duets" slumped to a 2.4/4 for FOX. A "Supernatural" rerun on The CW trailed.

"Grey's Anatomy" scored a 14.9/22 for ABC at 9 p.m., although CBS' "CSI," 14.1/21, had a narrow lead among total viewers (23.49 million to 23.31 million). NBC stayed in third with "Deal or No Deal." The final performances on FOX's "Celebrity Duets," 2.8/4, topped the season premiere of "Supernatural," 2.2/3, on The CW.

Down some from last week, the gap between it and CSI closed quite a bit.

(Meanwhile Ugly Betty at 8 appears to be a breakout hit. It beat Survivor).

"Grey's Anatomy," 14.8/22, reclaimed the top spot at 9 p.m., beating out CBS' "CSI," 13.3/20. "Deal or No Deal" pulled down a 6.3/9 for NBC. The playoff game between the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers scored a 4.3/6 for FOX. "Supernatural" closed the night for The CW.
