any chance #7 goes much west?

Chances I'm sure are there.. either it will or it won't :wink:

But, with him already formed around 55W.. is it possible, especially because he's just crawling along that keeps drudging west instead of a slow turn to the north in about 72..

I already see a NW movement today....of course with weak steering currents maybe some wobbling going on.....

I think the chances are about 5% based on my research and a 95% chance or recurvature.

Ok.. :lol: I didn't ask if it was going into the GOM.. and odds are btw.. I think it may be just a wobble if he's only moving 5-6 mph..

one thing to look at, for any chance of it going west is if the weakness gets "filled in." If you look at thi water vapor loop there is a ridge near Florida that is actually building east and there is the big sub-tropical ridge NE of our system.

I'm really curious to see what gets left behind as Florence exits. Does the ridge to the west continue to fill in? Does that subtropical ridge move back to the west? If the answers are yes then this system will just meander WNW and the curve back west.

not as good as the Vols will taste as we should go into Tennessee and put an end to their season this Sat.
