Seems to be persistent convection...
around 10º N and 51º W. Is it just a blob?

That is a tropical wave that is embedded in the ITCZ that has flared up but as always only a flare up is not sufficient but we need to see 24-48 hours of persistance of convection and then we have to see if there is a low trying to spin.But so far no circulation on it however the storm2k forecasters as always are watching it and we will keep the members informed about this wave and any other disturbance in the atlantic basin.

Garrett look what the windshear has done with it (POOF).Only some showers will fall in the islands and that will be it.
