The only thing I see is a fairly round wave right off Africa with weak convection.

Holy smokes! When I went driving today I saw flat-bottomed clouds and said to myself "it looks like something is forming right over head." I reasoned it was the tail end of Ernesto lingering in the area. But now that I look at the satellite it looks like something is coming together right on top of us.

I'd wait for them to form before getting all excited about how active the tropics are getting, but yes invests are better than watching nothing.
